My Aunt through marriage to my fathers brother - who died in

Customer Question

My Aunt through marriage to my fathers brother - who died in year 2000 - has now herself died without having had any children. She has left a will in which she requested that her estate be divided into four equal shares. One share to go to each of her three siblings, one share to be divided equally between my two sisters and myself.
My Aunt's three siblings have pre-deceased her and we three have been told that we have become the sole beneficiaries. There is no mention in the will of any substitutions in the event of any of the beneficiaries pre deceasing my aunt. Are there any circumstances in which relatives of my Aunt's three deceased siblings have any claim on the estate. We have no knowledge of the existence of any relatives and none attended the funereal.
I would appreciate any reassurance or clarification received.
