Customer Question

I was visiting a cinema and chose to sit in a normal seat, not the wheelchair bay. Half way until the film an employee if the cinema moved my wheelchair ( it was folded up beside me on the aisle) the cinema said it was a health a safety violation. I saw they left me without my legs and no safe way to exit the building in the event of a fire or to visit the bathroom
We're they right or do I have a grievance against them.

Alex Hughes : My name is Alex Hughes and I'm happy to help with your question today. I need to ask you some preliminary questions to be able to help you.
Alex Hughes : Have you suffered any loss or damage as a result of this?

Alex Hughes : I' m afraid it's difficult to see on what basis you would have any claim against the cinema for this behaviour. It was clearly wrong to move the wheelchair and you can complain about this but no law has been broken. And as you have not suffered any loss there is nothing to claim.

Sure though what I bought the tickets I should have been told then I couldn't sit with my wheelchair? It's rather embarrassing to be told you're a fire risk

Alex Hughes : Yes, I understand that and you can write to the manager to complain about your treatment. It's clearly bad customer service.
