I have a Cockerel which is on Farmland adjacent to my Garden.

Customer Question

I have a Cockerel which is on Farmland adjacent to my Garden. We live in a village and all the local neighbours approve of the Cockerel and there are four other cockerels in the village.
I have received noise abatement order from the local council due to one man complaining.
Can this be upheld when the cockerasl is kept on Farmland on which cattle also graze

I am afraid it can be upheld even though you keep the bird on farmland.

You may appeal against the notice if you do not agree with it or comply with it and try and minimise your bird crowing or sad to say, get rid of it.
