This answer was rated:

my house was searched by the police under a conspiracy to commit gbh, they seized all phones and laptops, the issue that i am worried about is that there where about 10 laptops in total one which works and is mine the others i bought from a car boot sale and i don't know i something illegal is on them as they had broken screens, i intended to sell them for spares on ebay ect.
if they find something illegal on them where would i stand, the original search warrant was for gbh a threatening text message

If you did not know there was anything on there then you will be not guilty of an offence.

Alex Watts :

This is because in order to commit an offence you need to have knowledge.

No knowledge means no offence, so you need not worry
