Hi my marriage is now at an end but we sleep in separate rooms

Customer Question

Hi my marriage is now at an end but we sleep in separate rooms but share the rest of the house.
My wife has now found a new man and I have an idea that she want's to remove me from the home.
The deeds are in both names as is the mortgage.
As yet I have no animosity toward her
and I do not intend to so can I be evicted

Thank you for your question.
No, you cannot be evicted from the house that you own or own jointly with your wife. The only way your wife could obtain such an order is if there is domestic violence or similar. As that is not the case there is no question of your wife evicting you.
