Customer Question

I had my british citizenship ceremony on 8th Dec 2014. Before this I made plans to visit Ghana where am origionally from between 23rd December 2014 and 11 January 2015. With my understanding ones becoming a British Citizen my indefinite leave to remain status becomes invalid. Am I still able to travel on my Ghanaian passport and ILR Biometric card? Will there be any problem entering back into UK? Thanks

Although your indefinite leave to remain status technically becomes invalid the moment you take your oath, as a practical issue, you will be fine leaving the UK and re entering back with your ILR status. I would suggest that you carry your naturalisation certificate with you in case you are asked about it.
Hope this helps
