divorce sale consent order

Good morning, I'm in divorce process, we are selling house to let, there need to be consent order for our financial settlements, where we agreed to the money from the sale go to me .Do I agree with the sale? Is it safe? Thank you G Evans

provided your ex has given irrevocable instructions to the conveyancing solicitor for the release of the funds to you then there is no reason not to agree the sale
Indeed even if all that happens is that the money is held by the solicitor there is no reason for concern.
The only concern would be if your ex was getting any of the money - at which point yes I would have reservations - although this could still be dealt with by agreeing that the Solicitor holds the money pending the sealing of the Order.
