I have been dismissed misconduct. This is because I mistakenly did not forward an invoice and as a result there was court action. This was a genuine oversight on my part.I have never had a warning letter or any other indication that my work was not satisfactory until this incident and today had to attend a disciplinary meeting after which I was informed that I had been dismissed. Is this fair and is there any point in appealing. I have worked company months without incident until this. My negligence has resulted in the company getting a bad credit rating apparently.Prior to this I had leave cancelled so i would be on hand to run the office in my superiors absence
