Customer Question

I have an NIP for violating a red light by 15 seconds during the rush hour.
Surprised I could have been this late going through at rush hour - is it possible and is there any defence?

Unless you really know that you did not go through the lights as alleged then it will be hard for you to contradict the camera. It was along time ago and how can you possibly remember. You could defend the case and hope to show some technical defence (defective maintenance on the camera perhaps). But the chances are you would not be lucky and would just end up increasing costs and getting sentenced more heavily ie a bigger fine. You will get 3 points and a fine for this traffic contravention, and a lesser fine if you admit it.
