Alex Watts :

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

Alex Watts :

Is this a Limited Company please?

JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- : Yes
JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- : yes it is a limited company it's a wholesale business and the other half isa business where we rent out units
JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- : yes it is a limited company.
Alex Watts :

Is it him personally about the VAT fraud or the Company?

Alex Watts :

How much is owing?

JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- : The charges are vat evasion to him personally but was submitted through the ongoing business which is wholesale produce
Alex Watts :

Ok - so it was business fraud?

JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- : the charges are for vat evasion against him personally although the vat reclaim was submitted through the ongoing business. We are a fresh produce business also rent industrial units out the attempted vat fraud was £500,000 but the company never received any money
Alex Watts :

Ok - the chances are you will be able top keep the business as I assume you were not involved in the fraud.

Alex Watts :

But if HMRC lost out he will have to pay that back

Alex Watts :

To be honest it is likely he will go to prison because of the scale of the fraud.

Alex Watts :

But if there was no actual loss to HMRC then you should be able to keep the business

Alex Watts :

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- : Did you get my email late yesterday ?
Alex Watts :

I did not sorry

JACUSTOMER-eifax32b- :

Not sure if you are getting my further questions as replys are very slow??

Alex Watts :

I can't see what any further questions are -can you ask them again please?
