Hi clare .. had wills witnessed and signed , filled in the wad document , witnessed and signed and dated ... sent off ... reading through wills a couple of days later and noticed hadnt dated the wills ... cant remember what date was put on the wad

The date on the Wills has to be the date that they were signed and witnessed - you will need to work out when your witnesses with with you and ensure the correct date is there.
The other document you refer to is for the Will companies use - so you can in fact just phone and ask
Please ask if you need further details
