Customer Question

Hi, I was left a lump sum in my late wife's will. Since the will was written sadly my wife has passed away. I have now received some death in service payments & the solicitor handling the affairs wants to make up the amount of these payments to the amount left to me in the will.
As we were not including these payments in the will as we were not looking for her to die should they be included in the estate!

I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
Just to check - the Death in Service benefit came to you outside of the Will?

I hope that this is of assistance - please ask if you need further details
