My husband and I are sperated and we have a joint account which is in overdraft, if i pay my half of the overdraft off can i take my name off the account. He has gone into an iva and said i have to pay his direct debit for his barcley loan or i will be blacklisted is this true if he's signd an iva. Please can you help

Is the Barclays loan in joint names?

He keeps asking me to put money in his account for the loan

The loan is not your responsibility and you do NOT have to pay money to him to cover it and you cannot be blacklisted as the debt is not yours
With regard to the joint account you should ask the bank to freeze the account so that no further debt can be added
