Having been issued with a £70.0 penalty parking notice I appealed

This answer was rated:

having been issued with a £70.0 penalty parking notice I appealed against the demand. I received a written notification that my appeal would be considered. I did not receive any further written correspondence from the parking company until I enquired as to the progress of my appeal. By telephone I was informed by the Parking management company, we have cancelled your fine and we informed you by E mail. (which I never received).
In such important matters does the law not require the trader to provide an answer by letter-mail ?
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately there is nothing to stop them telling you that your have successfully appealed by email. If you appealed your PCN by email then they have responded the cheapest way possible - by return of email.
If you had appealed in writing rather than by email then they would have responded by letter.
Kind Regards
I would be grateful for positive feedback. I am new to this service and positive feedback is gratefully received.

hello Caroline, and thanks for your reply....I shall certainly do a scribing job, should it happen again.!

My biggest mystery is, how I finished up receiving your answer, because I was trying to cancel the service! so, please don't take any further D/D payments. If I do need help I shall be happy to ask/pay on a one -off basis. Hopefully that will be a rare occasion ie first time in 73years!!

Kind regards. I'm off to bed.....poorer but, wiser ?

Thank you for your response.
