Will a person inherit, if entitled when the person dies, but dies before the estate is settled?
Welcome to Just Answer
In relation to the later deceased share of the original estate, as they passed away after the death of the person they inherited from but before the estate could be finalised - the share to which they were entitled will now form part of their own estate.
This will be distributed in accordance with their Will. If they died without a valid will then their estate will be distributed according to the Rules of Intestacy.
