Our mortgage company continue to charge interest on a single

Customer Question

Our mortgage company continue to charge interest on a single up front PPI premium of approx. £12000 even though there have been thousands of successful PPI claims in cases like these. Their argument is that they did not sell us the PPI (the company that did is no longer trading) and therefore they will continue to charge interest until the term of the mortgage (another 10 years). We believe there is a special relationship between the mortgage company and the PPI provider and in the absence of that provider, the mortgage company should be held liable. Do we have a case to take the mortgage company to court?
