I have a question about a will. My son has been left a small inheritance. His grandmother witnessed the will. She is now concerned that he can not legally inherit. I can only find information regarding husbands and civil partners of witnesesnot being able to inherit. Does it extend to grandchildren? It was a  home will we purchased not witnessed by a solicitor but legally binding.

There is nothing in the law which suggests that it extends to grandchildren. I hope that this helps. Please rate positive.
