Customer Question

Hi Jo C my question is about we moved into a new home and was sold that the ground adjacent was to be a village green as we were relocating we did everything through the sales advisor, after exchange we came to look at the house and to our dismay they have turned it into a playground with access 24 hours. This was not on the site plans we have written documentation telling us it would be a green space and at no time we we informed prior to exchange this was being built. To add to that we are a gay male couple who feel not able to look out of bay windows onto the area for fear of being labelled child molestors and at night if we challenge the youth's we are again in fear of stories being made up and or our property targeted as we are less than 30ft from the playground. Where do we stand legally against the house builders? thank you

Thank you for your question. My name is ***** ***** I will try to help with this.
For what it is worth, I think half the country feel like that at the moment and one can hardly blame them. You are much better off with dogs who won't accuse you of abuse in forty years!
However, this isn't my area so I will opt out for others.

I will await the response, that is another thing we have 2 dogs but can no longer take them into the playground as they are playful fogs and might jump up, also i think the house price will be affected as a proportion of the market will not want to buy next to a playground

And then mummy and daddy will want to claim two million because little precious has a scratch that nobody can see.
Even though little precious was provoking the dog.
I completely agree with you. People don't seem to understand that not everybody loves their children as much as they do.
Whether or not there is a legal remedy is another matter.

It seems the professional has left this conversation. This happens occasionally, and it's usually because the professional thinks that someone else might be a better match for your question. I've been working hard to find a new professional to assist you with your question, but sometimes finding the right professional can take a little longer than expected.
I wonder whether you're OK with continuing to wait for an answer. If you are, please let me know and I will continue my search. If not, feel free to let me know and I will cancel this question for you.
Thank you!
