Hi I have been interested in law for a number of years after helping a good friend of mine prep for her Bar Exam, I often look up acts and have some knolage. I was wondering if there is a good book anyone can recommend to do with learning how to draft
contracts. I know The Art of The Advocate is the "bible" for cross examination for example but is there a favoured/classic text for someone wanting to understand and be able to draft contracts? Thanks

This is really a matter of opinion but two of the best books out there are:
- Chitty on Contracts - this book has more of a commercial application;
- The Law of Contract by Guenter Treitel - this is a more technical book.
Both are published by Sweet and Maxwell. Chitty is on its 32nd edition and I think Treitel is on its about 14th edition. They are both long in the tooth so to speak.
Kind regards
