After many questions and emails asking various questions to a TPI offering there services I reluctantly agreed to a verbal electric supply contract for my business. This is due to start on the 30th February 2016. I was advised by the TPI that this was the best offer on the market and it was strongly recommended by them for me to proceed with this.
I have now done a little bit more investigation and have been quoted a much more competitive prices by another supplier through another TPI.
Is there any way I can cancel a verbal contract that has not started yet. The verbal contract was agreed about 7 weeks ago now. I have received no paper work or correspondence from either the TPI or the new proposed supply about this new contract.

Hi my name is***** written details have been received what so ever. the TPI did verbally go through some legal jargon over the telephone.

I do have copies of emails that i sent and received from the TPI to answer and clarify various points I raised.
I have asked today about canceling the contract but haven't heard anything back from them yet
