I am a small shopkeeper. I have traded in the premises for 21years although the lease term expired after 10years. I have traded for the past 12 years, paid the rent but without the comfort of an official lease. The landlord has put the property up for sale. Do I have any protection? Can I be evicted straight away or do I have a right to a notice period?
