I had a company registered in Illinois as a limited company

This answer was rated:

I had a company registered in Illinois as a limited company as "company name USA" there was an issue with transactions with clients that occurred with that company.
I also have a limited company in the UK that is named "company name". This business did not do any of the transactions, was not the company on the contracts.
My question is are there any circumstances that can I be sued by a past client in the UK?
