Hi I have just received a "no ASN required" for no insurance on my motor vehicle I will plead guilty as it is my fault I'm just wondering about the penalty charge it does say £1000 is this true and will I have to pay this all at once Thanks
Thank you for your question. My name is ***** ***** I will try to help with this.
No. That is the maximum penalty. You will not get anything like that.
I would imagine the fine would be about £100.
Nobody get maximums unless they have been repeat offenders.
Can I clarify anything for you?

Also will I actually have to attend court or can I just plead guilty by post.
No, not really.
Nobody gets anything like maximums.
You can plead by post for this type of offence.
