I had a work related injury so I put in a strictly “no win

This answer was rated:

I had a work related injury so I put in a strictly “no win no fee” claim, the case went only as far as a barrister who said it was “not worth pursuing as it had little chance of success“ now the “after the event insurance” will not pay out and my solicitors are asking me to sign documents (in my name) to take them to court to pay what they owe.
If I don’t proceed they say I could remain liable for the disbursements and/or the other party’s legal costs.
They also have stated “I can sue without any litigation expense risk whatsoever, so long as we are your lawyers.
What would your advice be, thanks in advance.
