Customer Question

My mother sold her house to my brother in-law in 2009. The sales price was £95,000.00
When my mother received the final sales figures for the house The sales figures showed that she had sold the house for £105,000.00. Also she sent a document for her to sign that came from mums solicitor, authorising him to hand £72,000.00 to her Grandsons property company. (Investor Net), management services. Mum rang her Grandson & he advised her to sign the document & returned it to her solicitor as he would sort things out. She is 87 years old, a little confused, & i think she has been mugged here, also a question arises about the document sent to mum, why did the solicitor send her that document, if feel that he wasn't acting in mums best interests in this case, i also note that the Solicitor. ( Simon Bergin ). has been suspended. Is their a way forward for mum regarding this matter.
