I work for a security com.contracted to a large organisation...I had to make a call to a duty engineer for a prob at one of th sites im responsable to respond to I made 4 calls ,no response.carried on down list as written in proceedures..contacted off duty engineer who refused to go out became abusive to me........I went on hol and when I came back had letter from my co.about being rude and abusive and not carrying out procedures..I have written log evidence that I did...I had an investigation meeting....I have now left my job..but would still like to know result of investigation....I was allowed to see original complaint against I have now lefty employment can I still have results of investigation..and can I make a claim against engineer fo false and maliciois allegations

Hello yes you should have been allowed to see the details of the original investigation. Were you dismissed or did you resign? When did you leave?

Iwas not dismissed I jumped before I was pushed I left this morning I gave a weeks notice which was accepted..instead of a month

I left work this morning after doing a 12 hr night ..06.00..ive had no support from my comp..they are obviously client orientated...I know wat I did was right .but got no support from my co...there just looking aftr ther contracts....

hi yes you are allowed to see the investigation against you under the data protection act. The employer is obliged to give you all of the information on your personnel file. They may charge an admin fee of £10 to send the information and can take up to 40 days to do so. If you have any further questions please do let me know.
