The occupants of the subject property should have vacated

This answer was rated:

The occupants of the subject property should have vacated the property by 25th May 2016. The Local authority is insisting that I serve them Section 21 Notice and is now sending me cheques and requesting my bank details to pay a proportion of rent but, they are not tenants and have no tenancy agreements. What next?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you.

I assume they have refused to leave? Is there a deposit and if so, is it protected?
