My step-daughter's partner is refusing to move out of her

Customer Question

my step-daughter's partner is refusing to move out of her property (they have agreed to split up) saying that he has rights there as he has lived there for 6 months. She says he can stay until end of July but he is saying he won't go until end October. Can she insist?

Hi, thank you for your question. Just a bit more information required to fully assist you:

-Are they married?

-Do they have children together, if so their ages?

-Is the property owned or rented, and in whose name?
