Customer Question

We are in dilute with a supplier over an unpaid invoice. This supplied did development work for us. Part of his costs were suitable for claiming a refund from hmrc, some were not. In 2013 We asked him if he could reword one invoce so that we could incude it in our claim, which we did. We requested he do the same the next year but he refused and consequently we did not make a claim. Moving forward today, he has infer us that unless we pay the his current disputed invoice, he will send his emails to his solicitor who will have a duty to report the matter to the hmrc. Are we bieng blackmailed ?
