My Husband ask told the GM that I'm willing to write a written apology or go and apologize directly to the person I confronted on Saturday. The GM said he'll be speaking to her about it later this afternoon.

Thanks for your patience. Offering and delivering an apology would certainly try to mitigate the seriousness of the situation and work towards resolving this issue. Of course there is no guarantee that this will happen and the offer could easily be rejected by the ‘victim’. No one can force them to accept an apology or even consider one. So in many respects you have nothing to lose by offering it and doing so could in some cases work towards resolving this, at least to an extent.
