Hi, my solicitor is asking me to pay 25K for a case they took on which I lost at trial. They said fraud allegations were made. The third party raised concerns on the occupancy of my vehicle. However, the judge said that she was not satisfied with the route I took. No fundermental dishonesty was found on that day either. My solicitor sent me a letter a week ago requesting payment because of their terms and conditions which I signed also which I can't find as I have all the letters I have received from them to date.
What can I do?
Thank you.

Hello Adam my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

Just to be clear there was no finding of fundamental dishonesty?
If not, on what basis does your Solicitor want costs?

Hi, I rang the court today regarding the judgement made and she said there was 'No order of cost'. The court will send me a letter which I can fill out and request the transcript and judgement in writting at a fee.

Ok. Then you don't need to pay.......

Thanks Alex.Is there anything I should do now?

No. Refuse to pay. Alex

Shall I call them or email them? And should I mention anything about the Court Judgement?

Write to them, dont call or email, say you have spoken with the Court. Alex

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What exactly shall I write in this letter?

Just that the court didn't find dishonesty and you will not pay costs.

Hi Alex,I have received some documents from the Solicitors, in particular the CFA form, their terms and conditions and the Court Order. I was wondering if you could look at them for me?

I can, but that would be an additional cost......

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
How much is the cost?

If you can post a new question and ask for me I can come back to you. Alex
