Men working on my conservatory damaged a bronze horse statue

This answer was rated:

Men working on my conservatory damaged a bronze horse statue knocking the ears of the horse.
This was a statue of my grandfather with his horse made after his award of an MBE and after his death. There were only 500 made and no more are being made or available.
I no its value was £500 new but has greater emotional value. I have managed to stick the ears but you can see the repair. I've taken pictures of the damage and informed the company of the damage but would like some advice as to how discussing compensation.
