Customer Question

I was arrested for drink driving for the second time in 10 years. last offence was 7 years ago. I was 2.5 times over the limit. I am the sole income earner in my house. Am I likely to face a custodial sentence?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you.

What was the reading? When was the last conviction?

sorry, not pestering but wondered if you received my response to your question?
Expert:  Ash replied 1 year ago.

The reading range for the sentence bracket is 60-89 in breath. The sentence is a fine and disqualify between 36-46 months. There is no risk of custody.

But you face a very long ban because its within 10 years. This can be reduced by 25% if you complete the drink drive course.

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

Would there be a fine as well?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry what is the fine likely to be?

When you say custody do you mean custodial sentence?
Expert:  Ash replied 1 year ago.

No, not likely to be custody.

Fine will be the same as 1 weeks earnings.
