i am a foster carer. my 22 years old son has received a court fine and a 2 years suspended sentence. Can I still continue my job as foster carer considering he will be living with me from september

The arrest and all the rest happeneda week ago. Not in my city nor in my house where I am currentlu fostering two boys aged 15 and 16. He was in a place called Bournemouth where he was studying at Uni.

Yes, that is a conviction.

That is going to have to be disclosed if he is living there.

I'm afraid it is going to be an issue. Since it is not PWITs or cultivation it might be that they will accept that creates no risk but there are no guarantees I'm afraid.

If he is not living with you then that gives you a stronger chance.
