Customer Question

In June 2015 I paid the Council a fee for a pre-application discussion regarding the potential to develop a plot of land, my initial enquiry with the appointed planning officer was on the suitibility of the proposed access, because if the access was not suitable there would be no pointin considering the site further, I subsequently received an email from the officer to say he hand no objection in principal to the suitability of the access. Following this written statement I was encouraged to employ both an architect and planning consultant to carry out a full development appraisal spending £ thousands of pounds in the process, bringing an application before the planners for consideration to be heard at a committee meeting in september 2016. To date we have complied with everything requested from all legal and planning departments including the Highways
