went through a lengthy process to purchase a flat (from shared ownership to leasehold). We had verbal consent from the housing association regarding small pets and was told it would not be an issue. Once the contracts were signed exchanged, we were given the Lease were it is required we need written consent. We contacted the housing association and they have no said we cannot keep pets. it was mentioned to them a number of times to different agents and they all said it would not be a problem but now the housing manager will not give consent. please advise...
