A friend of 15 years is trying to sue me for hair and scalp

Customer Question

A friend of 15 years is trying to sue me for hair and scalp damage. This never happened. My insurance company have said nothing they can do because there was no patch test carried out. I can prove she's lying. What leg do I have to stand on?

Why aren't your insurance company dealing with this?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
They were, I have been through it all with them, the whole way along they have said they can see she is being untruthful. She has no evidence but because I didn't carry out a patch test which it states in the manufacturers instructions you must every time they are saying they won't deal with it. But she has no photographic evidence of hair or scalp nor has she seen a doctor. I now have to get a solicitor, but do I have a case?

Ok. But surely she is suing them not you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No it's me she is suing.... Unfortunately

Yes, but your insurers are liable on your behalf.

Why aren't they covering it?
