Customer Question

I had a second charge loan which was paid up in 2010 with Lancashire Mortgage. Although I fell behind a lot & was threatened with repossession on several occasions, I paid the loan & interest on time or there abouts.
A week or so later I got a bill for about £15,000 or so for costs & I said that, that was rediculous & that I wasn't going to pay it.
I have heard nothing for 6 years & I have just received a letter from the county court to appear.
I am obviously very worried & am taking as much advice as I can get.
Can you help?

Hello Ian my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

Did they ever provide a breakdown please? How many months were you in arrears?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi AshI think that the most I fell behind was 4 months or possibly not that much.I feel that the extent or implications of the amount of charges & the risk of possession were not explained properly.Ian
