I just wanted to know if my husband is not british but applies for spouse visa and i am british and have a stable job however i have a default in my bank, can my credit history effect the visa ?

1. No, your credit history cannot affect your visa. Essentially, the test for the spouse of a British national visa is their income level which must be above 18,600 pounds. There is no test in relation to credit worthiness or debt history. So your default in the bank will not affect your ability to get a spouse visa for your husband.
