My grandmother died and in her will some of her assets are given to my mum in point 4 however point 3 says that the remaining assets are divided between my mum and aunt. My aunt says this makes point 4 invalid and she gets half of everything. Is this correct as it is clearly just a mistake in the ordering of the points? Does it even matter considering point 4 specifies which assets? Thanks

From what you say point 4 is a specific bequest and point 3 is a general bequest. It doesn't matter what order they appear in.
