If I get a non-molestation order and go to court-can I stand

This answer was rated:

Hi-if I get a non-molestation order and go to court-can I stand up in trial and sort of be my own solicitor? because i know and can plead/fight my case better than anyone (in my belief) but i have no legal training.
I will still get a solicitor but I would like to do this as well.
1. Is this possible
2. What is this called legally?
3. What would be (if possible) the terms nd conditions of this arrangement?
4. Any commonsense tips/advice/protection-be aware advice you would have for me
Thank you very much

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

I assume you would be representing yourself? Or are you representing others?

Hi Jamie, Thanks for the reply. Yes I would be representing myself. But before I do what I've prepared in court I would run it by my solicitor-sort of co-work with her because I have absolutely no legal training.Thank you very much indeed,

Thank you Helena.

1) Yes you can represent yourself.

2) It is called a litigant in person

3) Nothing, you just turn up at court and represent yourself.

4) stick to the point. There is nothing worse that someone going off on one that is not relevant!

Can I clairfy anything for you about this today please?
