I was thinking more along the lines of unauthorised (i.e. without my permission) computer access, possibly sending the information (NHS held medical patient data) abroad possibly via other organisation(s)...and breaking the Data Protection Act...How do I go about definatively verifying/or not whether something like this has taken place

Could you explain your situation and a little more detail please?

In particular, why do you think this has happened?
