I was caught speeding on the M 1 at 03.25 hrs in an area

This answer was rated:

Hi I was caught speeding on the M 1 at 03.25 hrs in an area that had a reduced speed limit due to works being carried out (although on one was working at that time) I was doing 58mph in a 50mph limit. What is the amount that I can be caught over the limit?

When did you pass and do you have any other points please?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
When you ask " when did you pass" do you mean the date, if so it was 22nd September.

Of 2015?

I mean when did you pass your test?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry May 1967

Ok. Good.

Do you have any other points?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
3 speeding I think it was 2 years ago

Thanks. I wouldn't worry about this.

you will get 3 points and a fine or the speed awareness course.

Your other points are active but you past more than 2 years ago so you are not at risk of revocation under the new driver's scheme. Also, you cannot be disqualified as you don't have 12 active points.

You can expect the fixed penalty if this is just 58 mph in a 50 mph zone.

Can I clarify anything for you?
