Someone has parked and covered (stored) three very high

Customer Question

Someone has parked and covered (stored) three very high value sports cars in a mixed council/private residential neighbourhood on streets. They are obviously storing them there at the expense of potential residential parking and have been there for over a month. There is no proof but I doubt they belong to any resident of the area. Council has had the police investigate them but they are apparently legally parked and the police will not have them removed. Do residents have any recourse?
