This answer was rated:

I purchased a motor car from a dealer which broke down due to gearbox/clutch problem within 4 days'. Returned the vehicle and paid a further £100.00 for repairs. the same problem has occurred (within 2 days')and they now want me to pay a further £370.00. Should I ask for a refund, the seller has already stated he is not willing to reimburse me. If I pay for any further repairs do I have a claim against any said repairs.

was the car sold with a warranty?

Thanks for your assistance Jo, your advice will be adhered to and hopefully a positive outcome will ensue. I am not quite a luddite but i'm not particularly au fait with communicating in this way; would be nice to have a focal point to contact. Should I require any further guidance i'll be in touch. Kind Regards Jason.
