Customer Question

I've just recieved a bill from a solicitor for £3,000 + I was u sing this solicitor for a no win no fee claim for loss of hearing was from a previous employer. I was telephoned at first and a lady( who was an agent for the solicitor) came to my home and told me it was a government scheme and I was guaranteed at least £1,000 no problem this was approx 18 months since. I filled in several questionaires then they lost the paper work and I had to fill in the questionaires again. Then I went for an earing test at a local hotel after several weeks I phoned and they said they could' nt find results then they found results from a differant hotel. The report on my hearing said I had 40% loss of hearing. Then the solicitor sent for more information and suggested I see my own doctor to get a get hearing test on national health and earing aids fitted. Also to get statements from family and friends to state when they noticed my earing deteriate. My family and friends did'nt want to be involved. So my question is do I have to pay this bill. ?. M.
