Customer Question

My grandaughters dog was savaged and killied and she was distrought ,I drove from Blackpool to Penrith to comfort and support her ,
a month later I received a notice from Cumbria police telling me I had been clocked at 57mph in a 30mph area. I went to court and was fined £285 and 6 points on my licence , I hade a clean licence for 62 years and feel the 6 points is unfair .The majistrates did not seem interested in the mitigating circumstances . Is it worth putting in an appeal
