Customer Question

On 13 th March this year my car 2002 Range Rover auto was collected from a workshop having suffered complete lack of transmission from M25 apparently repaired/exchanged as required at a cost to me of £1700. Over the next 2.5 months approximately 5 or 6 times it didn't change gear or select gear exactly as expected but by the time I noticed the moment had passed and I ended up not quite sure if it was me or the car. However on a short trip to the Isle of Wight recently the trans failure warning came on more often than not although there was no loss of drive, when home I contacted the repairer and subsequently returned the car to him last Monday. He has now contacted me and told me that it has a fault with the range change witch I know it didn't have prior to the original repair and is citing this as the fault that I am describing although it is a completely different vehicle system.
