I am a Trustee of a small charity. We have co-Directors. One is resigning. Does the remaining Director have the right to remain as the sole Director, or can we advertise the post?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
What does it say in the Trust documents about how many Directors are needed?

The Trustees are also Directors of the company. There is no problem with them. We have 7. The issue is with the two Co-Directors who are if you like joint Chief Executives. One is resigning, and the question is - does the remaining joint or Co -CEO have the right to the post, or can the Trustees advertise the post in open competition?

I will call shortly.
