Can you receive a golden handshake and a redundancy pay off?

A golden handshake is usually a contractual , rather than voluntary, payment over and above the statutory rights of the employee to a redundancy payment.

As such , yes , you can receive both if the terms in your contract with your employer allow for it and your employer agrees to one.

If there are any further points please respond I will be happy to reply.

I am a director. Does that make any difference. I also do not have a contract. I did until I was 65 years of age when it stopped. I am now 68 years and have served the same company for 35 years.

No a director can be an employee or not it depends on the contractual position.

Being a director per se makes no difference at all.
